Franklin Ridge Farm was started in 2019 by Shannon and Jerri Anna Musick.  The farm consists of around 30 acres of pasture nestled atop a ridge in the town of Gate City, Virginia. The land has been in our family for generations and it is our hope to continue to grow and improve this land for our children and their children.

​Franklin Ridge Farm is a family owned operation where the initial vision for expanding the farm and purchasing sheep started with Shannon and Jerri Anna. They were quickly joined by their children who continue to expand and manage their own flocks on the property as well.  We are committed to building a strong foundation for our farm’s future while preserving our family values.

We are primarily a pasture based program implementing a rotational grazing system. We do supplement feed while the ewes have lambs on them to aid with their milk production and overall health.  Our sheep have access to free choice mineral at all times.  We provide creep feed for our lambs to around 90 day using a lamb grower feed with a higher protein percentage.
